Maria Montessori School
In specially equipped
classrooms, guided by
teachers trained by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI),
children at Maria Montessori School happily work developing the skills
that will prepare them for a lifetime of learning.
Within a social
environment, free from adult induced competition or extrinsic rewards, children
at Maria Montessori School eagerly
embrace the challenges of the world around them. There are no
artificially segmented work periods, restrictive uniforms or hours of
homework to inhibit the child's natural development.
Whether children are
learning to tie their own shoes, compose music or, in later years to
master the complexities of algebra, all development is supported and
encouraged with equal enthusiasm and respect.
